You have to do something! What if she doesn't tell you until after she meets up with him and something happens?! If you know her password to the accout I would messagehim, pretend to be her mom and tell him your monitoring her account and that you've already reported him to the police and to never message her again. ( If you think he's of age)
If he's not over 18 you really need to sit down and talk to her. Tell her you love her and your really afraid something is going to happen to her if she meets up with him. If she still wants to meet up with him suggest a group date with a few other guys around just in case.

You should talk to her about it and let her know how you feel I know you don't want to harm your friendship between you guys or the guy shes talking to onlinebut really online relationships arent safe and she should know that. The guy hes claiming to be may not be who she thinks he is. Remeber the person on the other side of the computer may not be who he says he is if you really care for your friend then tell her how you don't want her to get hurt and how meeting this guy won't be such a good idea. Espically over the internet!

That happened to my friend the GUY came over... lets just say he went to jail! I'd tell her to stop and really think about what she is doing, somethin could really happen to her and then what will happen if that guy does come over he could be a liar and really be a 40 year old man! Get her away from him ASAP talk to her first and then parents to block him she does not really even know him stop it before it gets any further! GOOD LUCK TO U AND HER!

It's good that you're concerned about this. You should really confront her about it.. ask her what she thinks she's doing. Try to talk her out of it, and if it turns out she wants to meet this creep... tell her what you feel. Or, while she's on myspace, tell her to block him or report him and threaten to do it yourself if she's stubborn. As a last resort, you should tell her parents, and report this guy to the myspace administration. If she's upset, so be it... at least she'll be safe, thanks to you.

I would say talk to a school counselor and see what they say. I would NOT sit back and say nothing because if she did meet him and God knows what happened to her, you would feel just awful that you knew what was up but never did anything. It may even be worth risking the friendship to save her, she may hate you for a while but I think she will come around later and thank you for what you did to help her.

Just try to talk to her. Tell her how it could be dangerous to meet him because he could do certain things to her and not to meet him or you would tell her parents. If she doesn't listen, tell her parents. At least tell them to block it off. If she finds out that you told them, tell her you tryed to tell her but she didn't listen. You just want her to be safe!

you probably will have to be brutally blunt and show her what you found, How could you call yourself her best friend otherwise. If there is to be a casualty here, would you rather it be her, or your friendship? You may have to choose, a real friend wouldn't hesitate to do the right thing.
