Your cousin is also a human being. Your cousin is also obviously family. Your cousin has come out and stated his/her lifestyle, risking a lot. What should you do? How about love him/her and respect him/her as much as you would any other member of your family. No need for drama. It's just life. That's how I've chosen to handle this with a friend and a family member. :)

There's nothing you need to "do"...they haven't changed, they're still your cousin. Treat them like you did before you found out. If they just came "out of the closet", they could probably use some support right now, especially from their family. After all, it really doesn't matter...unless you're some whacked-up homophobe...
