Does a husband count? If he does then Yes. Hon, Girls tell all they know and a lot they don't know as soon as they trade friends. It's just part of the game and you can't change it except to stop sharing all your secrets. They won't be secrets for long. And Do Not write in anything like a Diary or Journal because they just SCREAM "READ ME"!
Have friends but never tell them things you don't want repeated. Be Your Own Best Friend. How I dearly wish some woman had told me that when I was a girl. She would have saved me a world of trouble. Good Luck!! @8-)

Well yes, there is such a thing as a best friend, but over your life who you consider to be your "best" at that time may change. My "best" friend for most of my life wasn't my maid of honor because I thought it seemed more appropriate for my friend who had been in my life longer and acted as more a "little sister" than a "best friend" should have the spotlight. When I was young, my best friend was who I spent the most time with, as I grew up and moved away, my best friend was the one who kept in contact with me over the time I was away. Now I consider more than one person to be the best for me for different situations. My "best friend" from when I was younger is not married and does not have kids so she is not good to talk to about my marriage or kid. My other friend is better at that. But she knows more about me than almost anyone else, so she is great at reminicsing... It just depends on you and your friends, but best friends for me have existed, they just change...

as a matter of fact there is. A friend who keeps your secrets and wont laugh when you cry. That's what a best friend is. One who can care for you and know what you feel inside. One who you can tell anything and won't feel uncomfortable and they fell the same. A best friend is someone who you can't be jealous of because you know that they are just the same as you. That's what a BEST friend is.

Of course there are still best friends! True best friends! Sometimes, people might need to go through "friendships" with not-so-good people before you meet one worth it. Fortunately, for me- my childhood best friend and I are still best friends... but either way, in some cases finding a TRUE best friend is almost like finding "the one"... you need to go through the bullsh*t to get to the good stuff.

No there is not really anything like best friends because once you start calling another person that, and telling them things that u don't want anyone else to know. sooner or later they are going to let everything out.
