lol - the same reason why those muppets go on shows like Pop Idol, and make total idiots out of themselves on national tv - in their tiny deluded minds, they actually do believe that they are good at singing ! i think the worst karaoke song is 'i will always love u' i hate the original version(s) of it, and it's even worse when some daft amateur bint warbles her way through it in your local pub !

Alcohol does different things to different people. For some it lowers their inhibitions making them brave enough to give it a go (singing that is) for others alcohol lowers their inhibitions to plug their ears or howl at the person who is singing (such as it is) Then there are still others who don't drink and just watch the show :) Oh yeah, what is a bint?>

If this doesn't happen then it is NOT a successful karaoke session. You must also have a group of tuneless drunken slappers all belting out a Whitney Houston ditty.
It's a karaoke law, or something, probably.

karaoke is for the tone-deaf and anyone else that cant sing a tone to save his life.but still enjoys getting up in front of people to have them criticize behind their backs (like you) its not for an expert singer like you that cant get a job singing professionally and has to resort to a karaoke bar. before you go knocking on how somebody else sounds maybe you should listen to the way you sound from the inside out.
