got problems with main pc, so set up pod on gals laptop, got right to the end and was informed pod can only be used on one computer unless I delete and refresh, losing 20gb of info, is there anyway round this, doesnt make sense, all I want to do is add few albums/photos? any help would be most appreciated;

i'm not sure if i can help with your specific problem - but remember to make sure your ipod is set to MANUAL addiing songs/playlists before you put it on another computer. good luck in finding your answer

Surely you backup your computer files on an external drive? Remember that you cannot copy stuff from your iPod back to the computer. I always back up all personal files onto an external drive (actually 2 if you're asking), but even more so for the stuff I keep on my iPod! Hope you can retrieve your stuff. Good luck!

Well you shouldnt use the same ipod for two computers and if the songs are still in your iTunes then jsut download them again.
