How do you make a T-shirt cute?

I am wearing this t-shirt tomorrow and i was wondering what to wear with it to make it look cute and not boring and so t-shirt-ish

Wow! There is a great book that you can pick up for future use called "I Wanna Make My Own Clothes" by Clea Hantman. It has great ways to re-design a t-shirt. In the meantime, here are some of my ideas for completely re-designing your shirt, and then some ones for making it look cute.

For redesigning...

1) TANK TOP: Cut along the arm seems where the sleeve is attached to the shirt. After that, you can trim it up a bit to make it thinner. Also make the neckline bigger just by cutting it off. If you want a curling effect at the bottom, cut off that seem too. You can decorate it if you want or wear it plain with one of the ideas at the bottom.

2) ONE-ARMED T-SHIRT: Cut off at angle one of the sleeves. (Hint: the shirt needs to be tight on you to be able to wear it with one sleeve.) Also, cut out the neckline.

3) TIED TANK TOP: See the seam running up the entire shirt on each side? Cut along that seam starting from the bottom and ending at the begining of the sleeve seam. Then cut small strips all along the part you just cut, front and back, right and left. Tie them all together, starting on the right or left side and tying with the one beneath it. If you want, you can make this one into a really cute tank top! And as always, cut out the neck seam.

How to make it look cute...

1) If you've changed it into a tank top, wear it with some long, chunky beaded jewelry and jeans.

2) Make it look cute by finding a fabric stamp and some fabric paint and stamping a design on it. (Tip: don't stamp in the middle. For a chic look, stamp it in one of the bottom corners.)

3) Wear it regular with jeans, beads, and a cute handbag. Make your makeup and hair look extra good, it will take away from the drabness of the shirt.

Well, have a bunch of those tanks that have lace on the bottom, so sometimes I will put them on and let the lace show. Wear jewelery- ALOT. Do a cool hairdo- straightening always works for me, and then pair it with a cute denim skirt, or jeans. Most of all- be confident!

you could layer it with some other cute shirt. or wear like a skirt or a pair of pants that are a different color than jeans that would complement it. if you're willing to, you can cut it. you can email me if you want more details. or you could wear some cute accessories to match like a cute necklace or something...

well if it is a plain shirt you can pair it with a button up shirt .... you could wear a high waisted belt over it if it is form fitting.... you could wear it with a great pair of jeans and some high heels..... you could wair it with a skirt and some knee high boots..... you could wear it with a coat over it.... they go with every thing t- shirts are great..... wear a tank top under it and add necklaces. you can also get a regular paper stamp and dip it in fabric pain and stamp your t-shirt.

i'm in seventh grade with darkish blonde hair and blue eyes and that i'd say it really is a touch "kiddish". i'd advise giving her a present card from her well-known clothing save and enable her %. out what she would like.
