She died last week
She has to talk to her mother, clear things up.
That means Ellis has to die as well.
They will talk and say their I love yous and their I'm sorries and then Meredith will be revived
It will seem like a dream but then she will learn that Ellis is dead.
Ellis was sedate last show. That is not Ellis.

she can not die. absolutly not=] i love her and mcdreamy together. and i think that something will happen with that Jane Doe lady and maybe when they showed some of the doctors like yang being all confused, maybe it was with her. i think something will happen with her baby. but if Grey dies, i dont know what i will do. I dont think i will be able to watch it anymore=[ but on another show One Tree Hill, a character had a "dream" similar to merediths and he woke up. so i believe that she will realize the dream and just wake up to be with Derick. and i think that it was so sad when he was sitting in the hallway crying because he wasn't allowed in the room. I cried a lot this episode. on a website i saw that there was like a Top 10 most worthless show characters and Dr. Burke was #5. so i am surprised that nothing happened to him.=] sorry so long!:)

finally a passionate topic! i swear i think about this every day! sorry im not writing with apostrophes or capitals but i just cut my finger and its hard to type.
no, i dont believe she will die. i dont believe that izzy would say all that stuff ("i believe she will survive, i believe that she is strong enough...etc") just to later in the show have meredith die. plus that would mean no meredith and ellen pompeo is the best actress OR actor on the show.
also you know that the last scene, where meredith wakes up next to denny and the bomb squad guy who are both dead, is just a dream. i mean what kind of show would try to show a scene where someone is living in the afterlife??!! that doesnt make any sense.
meredith CANT die...PLEASE NO!!!!!

The answer is no. She will not die. That sad fact is they won't kill her and she will wake up and the show will have officially "jumped the shark" which will cause it to lose its credibility. Unless she is severely brain dead this will be the end of the show as we know it. Anyone who knows anything about drowning is that you cannot go twenty minutes or more of not being recesitated with all that water in your lungs, be blue in the face and walk away from it like nothing happened.
The only way they can redeem themselves is for her to truly be dead. No, not some voice over like in Dull Housewives either. She must die to save the show from becoming a complete waste of time. This is my opinion clearly, but I would hate for this show to be ruined by a cheap stunt.
I think someone better find Shonda Rhimes and tell her it's time to go back to making lame movies like "crossroads" again. Because if she destroys this show that is exactly where she will end up. If she had any credibility to begin with, she would have already fired Dr. Burke. But hey, he's a black man. He's not going anywhere. You don't like that comment? Ask yourself this.
If Patrick Dempsey, a white man had made those comments. He would already be out the door. Just think about it.
You don't have to like me. I don't know you.

She is the main character. The show is called GREY's Anatomy (Meredith Grey). There is not even the slightest, smallest possibility she will die. Though I would be just fine if she did.

My Opinion:
Meredith will slip into a coma. Her mother will become lucid again and find a way to bring Meredith back.
Based on the many plot twists so far, this is certainly not out of the question. Admittedly, though, it's a stretch.

She's the main star...she'll live!
She did get recently engaged, but I don't think she'll give up a lucrative career for married life. She's having too much fun doing GA.
If it were anyone else, especially Izzy (who is my favorite), I could see her dying off because of what she did to Denny, maybe as a way of getting rid of her if she wanted off the show.
But they'll all be back next week.

Let's face it: Meredith's situation got boring and played out. We need a whole bunch of episodes where no one is sure she will recover from her coma and then from her brain damage and memory loss as a result of being nearly dead for sooo long.

She better not Die It's called Grey's Anatomy for a reason. Even if she is not my favorite character she shouldn't die..... I hope not.
