I love the movie as well; I was really, really surprised. In fact, I finally rented it last week, and was really blown away by it. I thought it was going to suck. To let you know, the Western Ghost Rider is part of Marvel Comics' canon of characters, and was a comic book for awhile. In the comics, he was completely white, had a white mask, the horse was white, he looked really cool. You may want to do an image search for "Western Ghost Rider-Marvel Comics" for a scan. The movie version was friggin' awesome. I DID have a Ghost Rider #1 about 2 and 1/2 years ago, but I had to sell it due to debt. I am familiar with the stories, and the movie used many elements which DID appear in the comic books, which I appreciated. I thought the movie was far superior not only in the story, but the special effects were great. Yes, they were CGI, but not as obviously CGI as say the craptastic Spider-Man movies (sorry, I love Spidey, but the CGI effects were too obvious and crappy for me). Regarding which Ghost Rider--that's a tough one; I would have to lean towards the motorcycle Johnny Blaze GR, BUT the Western Ghost Rider is awesome, and I really like Westerns, especially moody, borderline horror stuff, like Pale Rider, etc., so I'd saddle up on the horse, guns a blazin'!

That movie sucked and the quality is no where near Spiderman... so stop lying to the person. It is above Hulk, Daredevil, and Electra, but right below Fantastic Four and Superman Returns... which isn't really saying much since they all kinda sucked. Wait for 300 or Spiderman 3... those will be good comic book movies.

I saw it in Duncan, OK this weekend and liked it a lot. It is on a par in quality with the Spiderman films. Sam Elliott and Peter Fonda were very good in their roles, and the villains and other supporting actors and actresses were very good too. Special effects were state of the art, and the movie did not drag. If you like this genre and enjoy fantasy films this is a good one, on a par with Constantine and Hellboy.

It's very mild and lacks a kick butt attitude. It's wasn't quite what most people were expecting.
I must say it was kind of weak. The special effects were A-1 though.
