As someone has already pointed out folic acid is not a drug it's a nutrient that your body needs during pregnancy particularly to help prevent birth defects in your unborn baby. It is part of the healthy diet and lifestyle you should be following to help you get pregnant so in that respect it MIGHT help you conceive but no more than eating vegetables rich in folic acid and you'd never claim that they were an aid to fertility (and rightly so). So the answer is no, it's not a fertility drug.

Not that I know of. It is necessary to help prevent birth defects like spina bifida though. In fact, it's recommended women take folic acid supplements throughout their childbearing years as even the levels of folic acid 3 months prior to conception can have an impact.
B-complex can be used to help extend a short luteal phase and therefore help a woman carry a pregnancy. The luteal phase is the time after ovulation and before the next period. A normal luteal phase is 12-16 days long. A luteal phase of at least 10 days is necessary for a fertilized egg to implant. THerefore, a woman w/ a short luteal phase can conceive but may not be able to carry the pregnancy. Even a relatively well nourished woman can have B-vit issues.

No folic acid is not used to treat fertility problems it is a highly recomended vitamin before and after pregnancy and any woman planning a pregnancy should start using 400mg of folic acid as soon as they start trying to concieve if youd like to know more about folic acid please read below to find out why its so highly recomended
Folic acid is a naturally occurring B vitamin that helps a baby's neural tube—the part of a developing baby that becomes the brain and spinal cord—develop properly. It must be taken before and during early pregnancy when the neural tube is developing.
The best way to get enough folic acid is to take a multivitamin with 400 micrograms of folic acid in it and eat a healthy diet. Most multivitamins have this amount, but check the label to be sure. You also can get folic acid in your diet, but it's hard to get enough every day through food alone. That's why the March of Dimes encourages all women of childbearing age to take a multivitamin containing folic acid every day as part of a healthy diet.
Folic acid works, but it only works if taken before and during the first few weeks of pregnancy, when the neural tube is developing into the brain and spinal cord. When the neural tube does not close properly, a baby is born with a very serious birth defect called a neural tube defect (NTD).

Folic acid is a vitamin, not a drug. It occurs naturally in many foods, but like most vitamins it can be manufactured.
Like many vitamins and minerals, folic acid plays an important role in fertility. If the body is deficient in vitamins and minerals then fertility can be reduced.
Some studies stongly suggest that folic acid can be used to boost fertility in men in particular. But generally it is used to prevent birth defects, which is why pregnant women and women who are trying to conceive take it.

No it is not. Folic Acid is a vitamin in all prenantal vitamins. It is used to prevent birth defects for your baby. If you are trying to conceive make sure this is a part of your diet, but it will not help you to conceive.
