You all know i think the show is awsome but i''m trying to prove a point to someone Is it just a girl show. What do you guys think of it?Anybody -- what is it that draws you to it.

ok, im a girl but i luv the show. its amazing. i mean, its the best show i have never watched and i have watched so many. the doctors are so heroic and the actors are truly convincing. meredith (ellen pompeo) is great. i mean, i know shes just a character but ellen pompeo does such a great job that you believe in meredith. i do. & i dont want her to die, even if it is just a show. i want her to survive really badly. so that tells you how amazing the actors/actresses are. so it is a great show.

It is an ER wannabe. The characters are the same people but with slightly different storylines. Derek is Doug Ross. George is John Carter. Yang is Deb Chen. Burke is Peter Benton. Izzie is Anna Del Amico. Alex is Ray Barnett. Bailey is the female Robert Romano. I'm surprised they haven't tried to get Anthony Edwards (Dr Greene from "ER") to join thier cast yet

You mean other than the sexy women having casual intercorse with anyone with a pulse.
I would say it is the yungian thing of trying to balance a love life with a career or the Aristotlean thing og always forshadowing the climax so as to make you think everything in life is connected.

It's the hot women and the casual intercourse.
Like you aren't watching it for the same thing in reverse.

It's a great show. Their personal relationships with each other seem to draw us all in. I always anticipate the end of the show when Meredith sums up everyones issues in a physiological kind of way.

Me and my husband love the show and i really don't think it is a girl show i think it is 1 of the best medical drama around. I love the medical dramas

My boyfriend and I love it. I do not by any means think it is a "Girl" Show. I love the stroy line and the actors!

I think Katheryn Heigle, (spelling), is a super actress!!! I love the show and my husband watches it with me.
