If I wrote a play and could have any actor play the starring role I would pick Edward Norton.
He is sooooo talented.
He has such a great range-
(see Primal Fear, American History X, The Italian Job, The Score, Fight Club, Death to Smoochy, Down in the Valley, The Illusionist, etc.)
I think that he has done some theater work as well.
Furthermore, I think he is HOT.
Move over Brad Pitt- gimme some Edward Norton.
MEOW MEOW!

If the leading role was male, I'd have to choose Gary Oldman
Because I've seen him play 3 different parts and if i hadn't known who he was i would never had guessed he had played any of those parts because they were so very different from each other and when a person can't tell who the actor is even though he's a famous one then that is a GREAT actor
If the leading role was female I'd have to choose Cate Blanchet(sp?) I saw her play an elf in Lord of the Rings and a pregnant news reporter in Life Aquatic and I must say those two roles are way too different from eachother

Mmmm I'd have to go back in time to an age when acting required talent. Either Jimmy Stuart or Humphrey Bogart is my pick. Why? Jimmy Stuart kicks literal *** and I think he's the best actor, It's A Wonderful Life just can't be topped, classic romance and heart warmer. Bogart likewise kicks literal ***, the man was the first on screen pimp (besides charlie chaplain of course lol), and his role in Casablanca is unbelievable.

It would be Dakota Fanning because she puts a lot of emotion into things so that it seems realistic.
