Today the republicans are supporting big government such as the no child left behind act and the patriot act, the democrats have truly lost control of the spending their party conducts yet they continue to get voted into office. Is there a change in the balance or do you believe that both sides are beginning their spiral out of control?

The only thing worse than a 'Tax-and-Spend' Democrat is a 'Don't-Tax-and-Spend-Anyway' Republican.

89% of our federal revenues go to Defense, Welfare/Entitlement programs, and interest on the National Debt. That doesn't leave a lot for anything else. We need to trim the big-ticket items, which is hard when (A) we're involved in a war, however pointless and unnecessary, (B) massive numbers of REGISTERED VOTERS are about to retire, and (C) the Bush tax cuts have racked up more and more debt that our kids will have to pay off.

You're right!
Both the major parties spend like drunkin sailors!
I'm ready to kick all their 'asses' out and start over with a new party that represents Americans.........not illegals, not rich business interests and not the wealthy elite.
I'm tired of our politicians being bought off by who ever has the big bucks.
It's time for a change!!!!!!
