Nope I am a county girl stuck in the city....I love the wide open spaces of the county and I love the wild flowers the grassy fields....trees lots of tree and most of all staring at the stars! There are so many stars in the county! And things seem to go slower....in a fast pased world it sounds lovely!

NO!
I feel the same as you... I miss the country soooo much. My father died so right now I'm living in Los Angeles and also Riverside CA, but I miss the blue/green grass. The trees, fresh water and also the people are so much more friendly country side. As soon as I can I'm moving back to the country.
It might seem like you're the only one, since there are more people in the city that have computers (faster pace) then in the country, but I'm sure if most people had a choice they'd live in the country.
PS - Country is where the Heart is. Good Luck!

Nah, you're not alone. I'm an Adirondack Mountains girl and I adore the views all the way up the NYS Thruway. Cities may be okay for a visit, but I'd much rather have the peaceful beauty of country living.

HELL NO!!!!! I'd take the country over the city any day.
-Less Crime
-No Sirens
-Snowmobiles are allowed
-Shooting guns are allowed
-You can see the stars & constellations CLEARLY
-Doensn't stink
-Cheaper auto insurance
-Wildlife other than pigeons and raccoons.
-10 foot high bonfires
-In the summer guitars and drums can be played outside on a nice night and there is nobody around for miles to complain.
-You can do basically whatever you want
The only disadvantages are no garbage pickup and water is only by the septic tank/resivoir system.
The pros strongly outweigh the cons

I wonder how you got the impression that people like the city. I always thought everyone liked the country more than the city.

you can take the girl out of the country, but you can never take the country out of the girl! Hell no, you're not the only one. . . the city is great for visiting, but c'mon, you can't beat the rural places!

I love both, but you are definitely not the only one. Many people dread the thought of cities.
