I mean he's probably the key player on the Texas A&M team which is still ranked in the top 10. But no one really mentions his name when it comes to player of the year honors.

because his school is not in the likes of the dukes, and ucla's of the sportsworld! thye get all thje media attention, and even though he is good, the player of year usually comes from team which wins the ncaas! sad, but usually true!

The reason law is probably not in the running for player of the year is because he doesnt put up the big numbers. Plus, the aggies are a defensive minded team, But that is not the point, he carries his team and hits big shots at big times. So much of the aggies offense revolves around him, i know it is a team game, but he helps put them in position to win. IT ISN'T ALL ABOUT THE STATS.

probably for a couple of reasons:
1. kevin durant is in his conference stealing all his thunder...law won't even win big 12 player of the year because of durant
2. wisconsin is ranked ahead of the aggies and their best player, alando tucker, is averaging 20 ppg, about four more than law
3. winning player of the year is all about points, and law isn't a pure scorer; he's a point guard and passes the ball as well as he shoots

Law is good but there's so many other good players that are just doing so much better and so much for their teams... Law is getting noticed but with the likes of Durant, Alando, and Oden... Yeah it's hard to break talk...

Because he plays at Texas A&M, a big time football school. If they continue their current level of excellence the players will start receiving recognition.
