I have heard that part of the first season is on Volume One (http://www.amazon.com/Addams-Family-One-Sidney-Salkow/dp/B000HEZEYG/sr=8-1/qid=1172008527/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-0339218-8920965?ie=UTF8&s=dvd), and the rest is on Volume Two. I find that a bit strange. Does anyone know WHY this is? I have also heard that it is going to be released in three volumes, which seems odd for a two season show. My question is, is this thing the real deal?

$$$ that's what it's all about. They could have put a whole season in one set...but then you'd only be buying 2 sets for the whole series...this way you'll have to buy 3 sets to get the whole series....and they make more money. It is the real deal, the original ABC-TV series from 1964-1966.
