Lessons????

Question

Suppose you are very bad at singing, acting, dancing, ect, and you really want to be good at those things. If you take lessons, will they make you better at whatever you want to be good at?

It depends, I think you have to have a little bit of talent for singing and acting, and you have to have coordination to become a dancer. You could take lessons but if you don't have a the seeds of talent, then you might be able to improve slightly with a lot of work, but you'll never be good at it.

Yes. But if you don't have a natural gift for it (if you're not good at it before lessons that doesn't mean you don't) then you will have ot work very hard. All lessons are helpful.

Of course lessons can help, but I believe in many of those things (especially singing) you either have that natural ability or you don't. That can not be taught.

i mean yes practice makes perfect but more than likely in those industries its all about perfection so you either have it or you dont and i f youre a tone deaf singer and get practice you could be really good but probably not creme de la creme

You will probably get OK at it, but never really "good" unless you have raw untapped talent.

A voice teacher will be able to tell you in a week or two.

Not necessarily - requires a natural skill... can improve anyone, of course...
