You could experiment, but it's very risky. These formulas contain substances that are very specific in their actions on the body. They are designed for human bodies and human organs. If you were to try (something I don't recommend) make sure you give the dog a dosage relative to his weight (i.e. if a regular dose is 3 tablespoons for a 180 lb man, if your dog is 20 lbs give him one third of a tablespoon). It is likely that your dog will get sick.

you can give your dog most things that you would eat yourself including nutrients, vitamins and even soy milk. to start with i have a dog that was daignosed with cancer about 8 weeks ago and i have done a huge amount of research and found that giving your dog natural suppliments including fish oil (omega 3) as well as other things is all good.

now the only problem is if you are trying to give him "human pills" he most likely wont take him because he will try chewing them and they dont taste good when they break the capsule or pill so you can hide it in a treat (like cheese or hot dogs) or you can give him vitamins that are animal specific.

check out www.mysuccessmagnet.com and look into the k-9 suppliments they are great they also have some pills for joints as well as a body balance program that is all natural and full of soy protien that can help in gain weight.

if you have any questions you can call 1-877-LIFE-711 and i will be happy to talk to you.

I really don't think it would be safe, try calling a vet to make sure, and please for your puppy's sake don't give 'em any of it until you do call the vet to make sure.
