I dont know why, but my older brother keeps asking me if im gay, he says that the way that I talk and act is very feminine or gay. I know that I am not gay because I like girls.
For example things that my brother says makes him think that im feminine. If I like something I say that it is adorable or cute and say 'awwww' to express that it's cute, I like purple fowers and I am growing some at the moment. I dont raise my voice, well not in an aggressive way. Plus I love anime.
What do you think?

some guys are more in touch with their gentler side. You may be, but this does not make you gay. It makes you sensitive or gentle.

Your brother is just being stupid and stereotyping. Be yourself. Today's culture has a very limited view of what "masculine" is, and also connects the ideas of femininity and homosexuality too much, under the assumption that being gay is less "manly." Nothing you have said here makes you sound feminine. You are just being natural, instead of putting on airs to impress other people with how macho you are. Besides, what does liking anime have to do with being feminine or gay? I know more straight men who like anime than any gay men who do, and hardly any girls who like it. Clearly your brother just has a skewed perception of what gay and feminine mean. Forget what he says and be yourself. It's also possible that he's just picking on you unfairly because he's your brother. In any case, don't worry about it.

The only thing that would make you gay is if you were attracted to guys. You say you like girls, so that makes you straight. There are plenty of feminine men who are straight just like there are plenty of masculine men who are gay.

No-one can categorise you. You are whatever and whoever you think you are. There are no signs of being gay. Many men who seem effeminate are straight while many very masculine looking men are gay. Tell your brother to f*** off before you tell his friends some of his secrets.

be feminine doesn't make you gay attracted to other men dose there is allot of men that are in touch with there feminine side and there is lots of women that like that don't change stay true to yourself take care and good luck

Pay no attention to brother! There are other guys that act like this also..you are NOT the only fella that is like this...so don't worry!! He needs to ask more...and read more...I think that he must feel embarrassed...but, just ignore him.

Do whatever is most comfortable to you, if you feel that you have to prove yourself to someone else your losing sight of yourself for their benefit, not your own. If you like being a sensative guy, great, if you want to try being more manly, also great, just do whatever it takes to be happy and share that happiness with others.

Well don't worry about it.Just tell them ur not and they'll get over it.u might be metro but if u like girls then ur defintaly not gay.Oh yeah and anime rocks.
