I consider myself pretty level-headed when it comes to important issues, and I find myself agreeing with what Bill says the large majority of the time. I know there are millions of people who can't stand him, but can you tell me of a stance he had that you completely disagreed with and why?

It would have to be when he suggested kidnap victim Shawn Hornbeck " enjoyed" himself.

O'REILLY: Well, I don't believe this kid. And I think when it all comes down, what's going to happen is, there was an element here that this kid liked about his circumstances.

Orally was thrown out as a guest speaker for theCenter for Missing and Exploited Children charity dinner because of his remarks.

A few weeks ago Bill O'Reilly spoke out loudly on the Shawn Hornbeck/Ben Ownby kidnappings . Here are a few choice excerpts:

"...the question is, why didn't he escape when he could have? There are all kinds of theories about that. Joining us now from Washington, Greta Van Susteren, who has been out to Missouri reporting on the case. All right, you know, the Stockholm syndrome thing, I don't buy it. I've never bought it. I didn't think it happened in the Patty Hearst case. I don't think it happened here."

"I'm not buying this. If you're 11 years old or 12 years old, 13, and you have a strong bond with your family, OK, even if the guy threatens you, this and that, you're riding your bike around, you got friends. The kid didn't go to school. There's all kinds of stuff. If you can get away, you get away. All right? If you're 11."

"The situation here for this kid looks to me to be a lot more fun than what he had under his old parents. He didn't have to go to school. He could run around and do whatever he wanted."

"I think when it all comes down, what's going to happen is, there was an element here that this kid liked about his circumstances."

"I actually hope I'm wrong about Shawn Hornbeck. I hope he did not make a conscious decision to accept his captivity because Devlin made things easy for him. No school, play all day long."

Good news, Bill! There's no need to keep hoping against hope because you were wrong about Shawn Hornbeck after all. According to the Associated Press, the man accused of kidnapping Shawn and Ben was also charged last week with "69 counts of forcible sodomy." Sure looks like Shawn was having "a lot more fun than what he had under his old parents."

Perhaps they didn't escape because they were so enjoying being repeatedly and involuntarily buggered, eh Bill? "No school, play all day long," and all they had to do to keep up the fun was get raped every now and again. How does that theory sound to you?

I'm still waiting for Rush Limbaugh to complain that people are picking on the kidnapper because he's white.

Oh yeah -- When Bill said on the air that American Troops gunned down captured German SS Troops in cold blood at Malmedy during the Battle of the Bulge, then doctored the transcripts of the show on his website to eliminate any reference to this error, and then went on to say he meant Normandy or some other such nonsense. He should have owned up to his error and apologized but of course he never did.

Also, his entire culture war against the "secular liberals" is a bunch of BS also and doesn't square with his pornographic novels and sexual harassment of employees.

Mr. O'Reilly isn't worth listening to. While some of what he says may have merrit most is ultra right wing clap trap. I don't listen because he just p**ses me off all the time. Same with Limbaugh and Hannity and a few others. Tabloid at its worst.

No, I rarely listen to the man. He is everything I don't like in a person and knowing that I'm the ultimate censor, I choose to not let him into my home too often.

O'Reilly can't make you angry! Only you can do that. It's all about how you choose to react to someone else's actions. Why would anyone be angry because of someone else's opinion? Isn't that a bit immature?

I don't even have to write them, I can point you to the video that shows perfect examples of his "great" journalism:

Of course you may not like watching them because it's Keith Olbermann but he certainly catches him.

I don't waste too much time thinking about Bill O (and lately I am beginning to tire of Lou Dobbs too)

I have no specific instance. It's just as soon as he opens his big repub mouth. He says it's the no spin zone. Thats crap. He is always spinning for the repubs, Always, Always and Always. He always agrees with all of his repub guests and never agrees with his dem guests. He is a farce who won't debate the real issues with anyone whom he thinks will outshine him. And remember, he wouldn't discuss his sexual harrassment charges that a female worker filed againest him. He is a rich phony.

I think he was stupid to get Fox to sue Al Franken for copyright infringement over "fair and balanced". He lost obviously, but made an @ss of himself and fox in the process.

I gave you a star because your question is fair and well rounded with no partisan b/s. Thank you.

Immigration, he blasted immigrants all the time and im from a cuban neighborhood in FLA, and this pissed me off. In fact thats the only time ive ever disaggreed with him. he needs to get off their case.

Viva Immigrantes!!!!!

Comeon man, he focuses on all the bad and no good. i watch alot, its the only news i watch.
He talks about imigrant felons, rapists, and a host of other things!
He never talks about them helping us out.
Hes obviously anti-immigrant. Hey, O'Reilly is the best dude on the news waves, but when it comes to this, hes just wrong!

He does stand up for the common American and i commend him for that, but ive lived around immigrants all my life, and 99% are devout hard working, honest, Christians. Let them come!
