well, this weekend, several friends of mines are coming over to just hang at my house. we wanted to watch some movies and just hang and eat snacks (preffereably horror/sci-fi, comedy, and romantic themes --- the rating doesn't matter --- and we're ages 14 to 16 1/2 yrs old) thanks a lot

WOW...what a coincidence. My kids (all teenagers) just did this a couple of weeks ago with their friends. They rented alot of movies that had be remade. like 13 Ghosts, Salems' Lot, the Hills have Eyes, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, War of the Worlds, etc... and then they compared the old movie with the newer one.

Comedy: You Me & Dupree, the American Pie series (even if you've seen 'em, those never lose their laughter inducing comedy!)

Horror... ummmm.... not much GOOD has come out lately. I think the last one I saw that was actually scary was The Grudge. There's a few good-sounding ones COMING out.. like Hannibal Rising and 23... but they arent on video yet.
