NONE (in my family)! I just became an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree myself (and yes, both of my children have disabilities and are finally independent and living independently ...), and since no one lives forever, it was time for them to transition.
However, I am sad to report that there are those my own age who are still dependent on others ... and that is horrible. I knew, as a child of a Paraplegic WWII Veteran (with younger siblings) that our own parents would not live forever, and we all chose to move out (and entered the Military Services), and ended up burying them as very young adults. So although I am not one of these (and yes, I am an independent single with MY pensions that I EARNED through my hard work), there are those who have not worked either.

I'm 22 and just moved back in with the parents after graduating college because I don't have a job yet. They think I can save money by staying here, but I'm going to try to go elsewhere pretty soon hopefully.

I still live with my parents, I took a year off though. I worked a full time job, I still do. I pay bills and family comes first over Friends and stuff.

My husband moved back in with his parents when we got engaged. We were both 25 and I was living in Austria for 18 months. My husband had a great job and wanted to save money for us to buy a house after we got married. His parents are awesome, didn't get in his business and he had the entire upstairs to himself with a private entrance. It was a good arrangement for everybody.
