Heating pads work great. Also, take some advil liquid gels....man those work miracles!!! I am also a keneisiology major and a dance minor and with those two things, stretching is a BIG deal. Stretching the muscles in your legs and lower back releases tension that is caused by menstrual cycles. I would try doing some stretching for sure!!! Take some deep breaths as well. A majority of cramps that people feel is because the muscles are lacking oxygen. And, breathe deep while you stretch because as you are working those muscles, the extra oxygen you are taking in will go to those muscles and rejuvenate them. Just relax and take it one day at a time. I know that they are terrible!!! Good luck hon!
