i only get on so that i can chat with my friends and hotties! but its boring if no one else is on. is there any other things i can do?

Well, quite frankly that's why i used to play runescape also when i was bored. But now i have seen the light and i no longer see it fun. Just stay in the real world. When your bored go to a friends house and be un-constructive there. ( But don't set fire to the house, it doesn't work out well.) Or just read a book. But be active! =)

it matters on what you like. Personally, i don't like to play it. And, most who play Runescape these days, are not real hotties. But I do suggest AIM and Gmail(google, which comes with gtalk which is IM for google). Many people have AIM and/or a Gmail account. It is very popular, unlike Runescape, which is mostly played by people under 12 or just (no offense) nerds.

Runescape suck it is the the worst game ever EVER!!! IT would be better to pay $5 a month to play mineswiper (not a real game) online then this or get your internet pluged in to a telephone booth instead of comcast

Having the game just so you can chat defeats the purpose really. You should get MSN/Windows Messenger or AOL Instant Messenger and use that to chat to friends.

My god, it's POINTLESS, don't bother playing it. Spending your time there is as useful as sitting on your couch and simply doing absolutely nothing and not moving to get food or anything.
