Is Lost losing its magic touch?

After a very long 3 month hiatus Lost returned to television sets across the nation to bring the adventures of Jack, Kate, Sawyer, with the others. Viewers have been wondering if Lost lost it’s magic from the first exhilarating season. But now there’s smoke monsters, others killing everybody, and intense flirting between Kate and Sawyer. I think it's funny how many people are down on Lost. I am glad it's back on with new episodes. I think that sometimes they focus on characters or things I wouldn't but as a fan of the show I would like to think there is a master plan. It's not like the show is going to be over this year (at least I hope not!), so I'm not in any real hurry to learn everything about everyone or have all secrets revealed in a week! I think letting the story and characters be revealed a little at a time is just fine! Are some of the things (mosters, etc) a little odd? Sure! But if I didn't want "a little odd" I'd watch some other mediocre sit com! :-)

I really do think that the show is focussing to much on the whole Jack Kate and Sawyer love triangle thing. And I must say that I have absolutely loved lost when their was the mystery of the hatch and when they showed flashbacks of the main characters, but I really think I am starting to lose interest. Personnaly, I think the creators are starting to run out of good ideas.
