You an find the peak current using ohm's law.

The rms current of an A/C current should be the square root of (1/2 times the peak current squared), or about 70 percent of the peak current.

The RMS values are the comparable as DC values, e.g. 250V. RMS = 250V. DC., 10A. RMS = 10A. DC. this sort, AC and DC values could nicely be correlated. height fee in AC is in simple terms reached periodically, with 0 fee between peaks, so the "general" is the RMS fee.
