I loved TWINKLE - one week it gave away a free ring with a blue stone "diamond" I wore it until it cut off my circulation and had to be surgically removed.
Also remember MISTY which had some creepy and mysterious type stories and free gifts like a spider web key ring.
And of course there was "la la la la la LOOK IN"

Yes, showing my age here, I used to read Twinkle up to about 9 and then went on to read Jackie, through my teenage years, and Smash Hits, cos it had the lyrics to all the pop songs in the charts.

I actually read Spiderman when I was young. I also read "Richie Rich". Wish my mom wouldn't have thrown them out, but that is okay. I don't remember reading Twinkle and Mandy, where they good?

I didnt have a lot money so used to buy alsorts at jumble sales etc so I am not sure what was my era and what wasnt lol
