nope, he doesn't want the entire middle east, he just wants their oil fields.
This war was started for the wrong reasons, now it has grown beyond control. It will go on for many years because if we pull our troops out now, then there will be another Sadam waiting in line. It really doesn't matter what we do at this point, people will still be dying.
If we stay, our troops and their troops wil die. Not to mention all the innocents from the car bombs and suicide squads.
If we leave, Iran will try to overtake Iraq, a new dictatorial government will be set up and we will have new threats to our own country.
Peace is a pipe dream, it would be an amazing thing, but it will never happen.

President Bush presents himself as a Christian. Therefore he might like to conquer the middle east, Muslim countries that don't believe in Christ, but it is highly unlikely that Congress will fund any more of his wars. Perhaps he likes to think of himself as a crusader for Christ. Which is fine, as long as he does it from his church & not the White House!

Bush admin. are all oil people, and it looks like they're going after countries with oil. Iraq, Iran, Venezuela, yet N. korea can test nukes and no attack after 9/11. Look at karzai, condi, etc...all oil people making billions.

I don't think so. I believe he is trying to minimize the impact Islam will have on western culture and to preserve U.S. oil interests in the Mid East.

In his dreams, yes. The Dumbya the "Great" act is wearing thin both within and certainly outside the USA.

No.
Not even Iraq. Liberate, yes -- instigate a minor civil-religious war, unfortunately yes -- conquer, definitely not.
