Unless YOU are a virgin, you too could be a teen parent! All teen parents know that they have a rough road ahead of them. I'm sure they don't need your judgment. For every teen Mom, there is a Father. One who takes responsibility or not. Teen girls aren't getting pregnant by themselves. Pregnancy doesn't discriminate against age or education!

You would think so. But at that age they think they know it all and were the first one's to ever do it or think or it. There should be a class in high schools that all students has to take where they have to take care of a real baby for the semester and see what life hands then then.

Maybe because they kept the baby without giving it up and pro ably tryed to raise the child with no help what so ever. If that was you as a teenage mom what wouldn't you think you did something ?

most of the people who have answered this question are so inconsiderate. teen mothers have the right to feel proud of themselves if they have actually acomplished something despite the fact that they have a kid. if they have the kid and waste their lives then yes, they have no reason to be proud

Going through the whole business of being a single mom with dignity IS an accomplishment. They probably didn't choose to lose the possibility of getting an education... Some things happen and you have to cope with them.

People make mistakes, but having a child is a wonderful thing. One of my best friends got pregnant in high school. She still got her degree. Unless you didn't have sex as a teenager, you have no room to say anything. Either way, you really don't have any room to judge. By the way, she has never been on welfare and, if she would have had to be, I would have loved her anyway.
