What is the point in there being another side of the clock? It doesn't make sense!

You only see it close up going from 12 to 6 o clock, because each round is 30 seconds long. However sometimes if you pay attention to the background you can see the hand moving back up the other side ready for the next round.

Because they only have 30 seconds to figure out a word, sum? LOL I have no idea, I guess its best to use a whole clock than half of one :P
