Ok, I first started running this past June to lose weight and I have been running 6 days a week since. But this past holiday break, I didn't for two weeks since I was just enjoying the break. And when I went back to running, my knee started hurting everytime I bent it. I was convinvced it was my ratty old shoes so I changed them and got a new pair. They are fine but when I went back to run again two weeks ago, my left knee started hurting again. So I gave it some time to relax and heal..and I started again today...same thing! During when I'm runnning is fine, but it's AFTER I feel the ache/pain around the sides of my knee cap and possibly under..I cant tell. it frustrates me since running is my favorite source of excercise and if I can't do it ..it's going to be hard finding another type of excercise since I'm picky. So I'm asking you guys, is there a type of ointment/medicine I should put over it? Something like Icy Hot or some sort?
