How do you delete a file, but keep its contents?

I have a picture file that i do nto want, but i want to save the pictures, just move them up a level. How can I do this?

If you just want to relocate the folder, click on it, then right click, you can move it and even rename it when you get it ti it final place.
If you just want the contents, open the folder , right click and select all, cut and paste where you want, go back and delete empty folder.

Open the folder, select all then right click and choose Move.
