Maybe it is implantation bleeding, therees a good chance it could be. Take a pregnancy test on the 27th and good luck!

I would suspect implantation bleeding if it occurs a bit earlier than expected, if it were scanty, spotty, pinkish and not red and heavy like a period, and does not follow the normal pattern of a period (light to heavy to light).
The BBT should remain elevated and not decline to preovulatory levels.
There is often the feeling that it is a period with light cramps and bloating, but the bleeding is shorter, lighter and just not normal.
If a woman is usually regular, and now all of a sudden develops this type of early spotting, and of course is "at risk" for a pregnancy, I would strongly suspect conception
I hope you will find this helpful and whichever way it goes get the result you wish for.

There is a possibility that this could be implantation bleeding. I would monitor it for the next week until you are due for your period. If it doesn't get any heavier and then stops and you don't get your period as per usual, i would take a test. If you are impatient as most of us baby dancers are... you can take an early test 5 days before your period is due but dont be discouraged if it says neg...just wait a while and re-test. Good Luck

It might be something it might be nothing. Wait a few days and if you dont get your period take a home pregnancy test or see a doctor. If the pain gets worse go see a doctor as soon as possible.

From experience if you're trying HARD to have a child - your nerves can mess up your period EVERY time!! Which in turn - is hard to get pregnant. Just relax and it will happen! If you're still unsure - ask your doctor about the coloring. It doesn't sound tragic. Good luck!

FROM WHAT YOU SAY I WOULD GO GET A TEST AND TAKE IT JUST TO BE SURE BECAUSE YOU CAN HAVE IMPLANTATION BLEEDING AND IT IS BROWN SPOTTING. IF IT IS NEG AND STILL NO REAL PERIOD THEN GO TO THE DOC FOR A BLOOD TEST AND THAT WILL LET YOU KNOW 100%

I had this once and thought it was strange, well ended up I was pregnant, but it also could be a sign of misscarage, take a pregnancy test and see what the results are
