Ouija boards exist. That is a fact.
However, they have never been shown to communicate with dead or spirits.
People claim that they are speaking to the dead. However, there have been tests done where the dead were supposed to help the board users answer a question, like how many marbles are in the table in the next room. Or a specific person is supposed to be called and the users need that person to answer a question that the dead person should have known.
What is happening, the users can only answer questions correctly if they already know the answer. They can make guesses and hopes it come out all right, but there has never been any evidence of otherwise.
To those who may dispute this, please give a link to a study that says different. Do not offer unsubstantiated stories of personal experience. Give scientific evidence and we can go from there.

The OUIJA board is only one of many ways of communicating with other entities and/or other planes of existence. Yes, I do believe in the OUIJA board. The most striking answer I have ever received is "I am a part of all that is". Once, as kids, we asked about an Aunt. When we told our parents what the OUIJA had told us, our parents took the board away and told us we could never use it again. Years later, it was revealed that the information we received was correct and had been a "family secret" for many years. So, It does make a person stop to think about such things.

I have one I bought at an antique store. I didn't have any real intention of using it though. It would be interesting to know it's history and the people who have owned it and used it. People seem to think they are safe if they don't have things like this. It is my experience that many are tested and tempted at Churches and religious events as well. They are a piece of American history and folklore but for some bizarre reason people seem to think that by destroying it is a good thing. I suppose the less there are of the older ones the more valuable they become.

THIS IS TRUE!! When my aunt was 16, her and my mom were playing with a ouija board. in the morning they found my ants car pushed all the way into the middle of the street! and she locked the doors!!!

I've seen them work for real and I've seen people 'fool' with them. The truth is if you seek contact with spirits you needn't use a device. If you need to speak with spirits then the universe will provide you with that ability. If you don't need to then you will have to work your little toush off for it.
Crystal balls, tarot cards, ouija boards etc are all just tools to those with lesser abilities, and for those with greater abilities they are often used because people can't believe someone can just 'percieve' the info they are getting.

I believe in it enough to leave it alone.
They were very popular when I was in high school and I "Heard" that one girl became possesed. Now I didn't actually see this or know the girl, but it was enough for me. I've never touched one.
Having said that, I do agree that anyone can influence the ouija, but I'm not willing to test that theory, just in case.........

The Ouija board is for misguided, lost people who have not direction in life. most who dabble with this board are of European descent.

milly is right.....ouija board makes u go crazy or u get possesed by a nearby spirit. dont mess wit undead crap that can be dangerous.
