!!! Its an iPod video. i'm holding down the pause button and it isnt going off. Is there a way I can reset it or something?

Check and see if it is on hold, that might be why non of the buttons work. IF that isnt the problem then take the steps that always works when ipods freeze or dont turn off. personally, its really interesting to me. Click the hold button on then off, then hold the menu and center button down for 5-8 seconds then let go. It should be offf!

turn the hold button on for 5 seconds, then turn the hold off then hold the pause make sure the hold isnt on in the first place

There is a hold button on the top of the ipod slide it and it can keep it from coming off or not turning off when it is not too.

You can push the menu and center buttons at the same time and hold them down until it restarts, or if that doesn't work play a video until the battery wares out then recharge it.

maybe its on hold and you have to swicht the hold then press the pause button again
