My friend and I got into a fight. Someone insulted her from behind and she thought it was me. But I didn't. Right now we are staying at a hotel for one week together with another friend. We're eleven and our parents let us go to Cannon Beach. Abby and Christy were in a different hotel. I just sat down in a chair. Christy and I were the ones fighting. I sat in the chair in front of a tv. I sat there watching. While I was watching I said, "She'll come back. She will." I turned off the Tv and said," she's not coming back," I felt bad and ran out of the hotel scarecley catching the bus. Abby secretly told me where they would be. I ran to that hotel and asked where there room was. I got it, and ran up to their room. I knocked Christy opened it and I said "YOu need to belive me, I didn't say that, " She wasn't smiling and she just shut the door in my face. WE also have this necklace that is shaped like a heart. It's a best friend necklace, you know half mine half is hers.

These kind of misunderstandings can be very hurtful and you are at a very impressionable age.
What i recommend to you is to let everyone calm down and then try explaining again and let your friend know that you had nothing to do with the insults. If she cannot accept this and won't trust you, then you need to not let it bother you. It is very hard to do, but sometimes we must put boundaries around ourselves for protection when our friends are trying to hurt our feelings.
You are very mature and a good friend to her, so you should proud

Maybe you can write her a letter explaining that you don't know who said something bad, but it was absolutely not you, and ask her why she thinks it was you. Did someone tell her that it was you? Your friends left you in a strange place in a hotel by yourself at age 11??? Wow, that seems so dangerous to me. Just give your friend time and then ask her to talk to you face to face so you can straighten out what happened. Don't accuse or whine or beg for your friendship, just tell her exactly what happened as you know it to be.

sounds like a pretty stupid reason for her to be mad. she'll get over it. give her some space and enjoy your vacation! act like nothing is wrong, focus on the other girl and she'll eventually be fine.
