Beardie mating isn't a pretty thing to watch. The male will grab the back of the female's neck to hold her still while he mounts her. It can get quite rough.

What are you planning on doing with the offspring? You do know that you will end up with 20+ eggs from a single breeding. If you aren't prepared to deal with this many babies, then you really ought not be breeding the beardies.

Female beardies like to choose their own mate from several males. They do not like to have a male forced upon them to be their mate. If you haven't provided your female with several mates to choose from, and if she's trying to bite the tail or toes of the male, then she's refusing to take him as a mate.

Really, you don't sound like you know much about beardie breeding, so maybe you should learn more before you dive into this expensive, time-consuming hobby. Beardies should only be bred because both sexes have genetics that make them outstanding specimen. Beardie owners should only become breeders after they have researched and read all they can read about the animals, and are sure that they possess the time, knowledge, and money to be breeders.

The saddest thing in the world is to see a novice beardie owner try to profit off of their pets when they have only minimal knowledge of their animals.

Well, my first question would be if you know for certain that they are not in any way related to each other. If not, then it would be ok to breed them together depending on what you mean by they don't get along very well when together. Breeding with bearded dragons is not a lovey dovey sweet and cuddly thing, it is violent and vicious and more resembles rape. Could that be what you mean when you said they don't get along well when together? If so, keep in mind that breeding dragons is a risky thing and could very well lead to a death instead of a pregnancy. If the behaviour that you are talking about is not breeding behaviour and is true aggresioun then I definately would not suggest trying it, you would just be risking your pet's health and possibly their lives. no matter how closely you supervise them, if they are together and there is aggresion it could end badly. You would not have time to react if one attacked the other and to react could cause yourself injuries.
Breeding behaviour usually involves the male flattening and circling the female and then coming in and biting her on the neck to hold her while he lifts her tail and does his thing. It will also have a lot of black bearding head bobbing and arm waving, but then so would aggression so it could be hard to tell. Aggression will also have the circling behaviour so it would be hard to guess ahead of time what would happen until the act is done if it gets done.
Also, I didn't know if you were aware that from just ONE successful mating a female can lay a clutch of 15-30 eggs and retain the sperm to refertilize herself and lay a new clutch of 15-30 eggs per month for up to a year. If you are successful at mating, you very well may be looking at over 100 babies that will need to be housed and cared for and fed for 6 weeks at the least before they can go to new homes. One baby is expensive to feed, let alone caging, lights, supplements, possible vet bills, ect... When you take that number and you multiply that by at least 100 prob more likely 120-130, the number can be astronomical.
Sorry I couldn't help you more.

One, what are you going to do with the babies, and two, You are taking the risk of getting your dragon egg bond which she will die from. But that could happen without breeding her. If you really want to breed them then make sure you research a lot about it first.
