I told my dad that I enrolled my kids in the local school once we moved, but really I'm homeschooling them. He's very old fashioned, and he wouldn't understand. And he's not the type to let up easily. I homeschool my kids because we move around so much, due to being a military family, and it's so hard for them to adjust when we only live in a place for about two years. Plus, the school system in my area really sucks.

I told the lady at the post office that I brought the large mailing envelope from home, when I actually used one that was in the post office (they charge for those).
