As much as I love Ann Coulter and Condi Rice, .... errrr .... I am not ashamed to admit that a female president scares me. I would have to think long and hard about other conservative candidates before I would settle on a female president.
I don't think women have what it takes to make the kind of decisions the leader of the free-world faces on a daily basis. Women are emotional and compassionate creatures. Those can be great skills for organizing a charity fundraiser, but not when it comes dealing with wars, nukes, and other military actions.

The only qualifications Ann Coulter has is that she is a commentator and book writer and Phillis is an old author herself. How would they even remotely qualify? Nope, there are still no credible women running for office in my opinion.

Ready for a woman president? Definitely, but you'd have to choose someone more qualified than the two you mentioned, and someone more ethical than the current Democratic hopeful. Unfortunately, I don't think Americans will elect a woman president until we have better choices -- women of courage, character, and vision who have ample qualifications to lead.
Heck, a male president with those qualities would be great! ;-)
