Some people really take offense to some of the questions and preach alot when answering. Do you? Why? Do you ask questions on here to get a rise out people as well?

I agree, I think the less educated you are the more likely you are to resist someone telling you the truth. They also force their answers on people without seeing the other side.

Yeah....it happens. I admit I've gotten defensive, and then offensive (ranty, etc.) in answering questions. I try not to troll, but at the same time...well, I do put some time into this thing, so I do get irked when I get the thumbs-down for no apparent reason, or when I actually *look up links* for an Answer and somebody decides to either *pick* a one-liner Answer as Best or it goes to a vote and in the last few hours of voting a handful of others do that too...picking the one liner.

But yeah. I don't try to take every last answer as seriously as I once did. Some I take seriously, others, it's more like, "Ok, it's Polls & Surveys, I had best take a chill pill," or some such...

Still...you have to admit, as the levels pile on and as the point requirements get higher and higher...well, this isn't work, but this isn't something we can just laugh off here either, right? ;) Sometimes there is some effort going on here and yes, seeing the one-liner get picked for "Best" Answer does get irritating.

As for Questions, I don't even ask them anymore. Not worth the hassle. I've asked a few trolling questions, but most of them, I'd say 35 out of the 42 or so....they were fairly serious. And yet, the minute I ask about the Yahoo News story that got ran, concerning a Komodo Dragon, parthogenesis--look it up, if I explain it It Will Draw a Violation Notice--and any commentary on why we should be glad *people* don't do this, and well, I lose 20 points because some Bible thumper/Quran humper got his panties in a twist and had to throw a hissy fit like a little schoolgirl in kindergarten. Twice.

In plainer english....there are just some nights, and some topics, you *absolutely CANNOT* discuss on Yahoo Answers without the (mostly non-english-speaking, outsourced) Abuse Report department going crazy on you. Really. And life is too short to deal with anonymous cowardly nitwits who cannot abide by criticism in the slightest. Not to mention, I don't want to lose my account now that I have done all this work.

So yeah. I'm stifled, can't ask any more Questions, not without Big Brother crushing me for not being a total clown or freak about it. Why? Because I follow the rules the overwhelming majority of the time and this makes me an "easy target."

But there I go, getting defensive and taking this too seriously. :p

*lol*, It happens....just not for too much longer. I am quitting this thing at Level Six, it is just too much hassle to deal with, I'm sorry.

Yeah, and it's great. I love it when people get pissy. Yes, sometimes I like to provoke people or ask questions that I know will cause a riot. Some people take themselves way too seriously. Can't we all just get along?

Yeah, I do!

But, sometimes it is more the way that somebody asks the questions ,or they are just plain rude...and or don't phrase things in a nice manner...and that doesn't make others really want to answer the questions...it makes them more annoyed if anything!

Where do you get off asking me a question like that? What gives you the right to express any doubts about my sincerity, motivation, honesty, or intelligence? Because I know what you are up to and I'll get you for this if it's the last thing I do.
