I'm going to assume that you are using Windows XP. (If that's not the case, please update with your version)

First, you must have an anti virus program, with the latest updates installed. Avast makes a good FREE one, but if you want to buy one, I recommend NOD32 or AVG.

Once you have the AV program installed and updated, you must turn OFF System Restore. To turn it off, do the following:
1. Log in to the computer as the Administrator or with an account that has Administrator rights.
2. Right click 'My Computer' icon on desktop, and select 'Properties'
3. Navigate to the 'System Restore' tab. Once there, check the box the says 'Turn off System Restore'.
4. Hit 'Apply'
(To turn it back on, just do the same thing, but remove the check mark)

Once you've done this, restart the computer. Continually hit F8 to bring up your boot options. Select 'Safe Mode' and once the computer has booted into Windows, run a virus scan. It should pick it up and take care of the problem. If it does, restart the machine normally, and turn back on System Restore if you'd like.

If for some reason this does not remove the files, you can manually remove the registry files associated with it.
1. Go to 'Start', than 'Run'.
2. Type regedit
3. Navigate to the subkey:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

In the right pane, delete the value:

"[RANDOM NAME]" = "%System%\rundll32.exe %System%\[RANDOM NAME], [RANDOM LETTERS]"

Navigate to the subkeys:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AdwareDisableKey3
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\AdwareDisableKey3

In the right pane, delete the value:

"Default" = "[RANDOM NUMBER]"

Navigate to the subkeys:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{7586A829-8A23-4269-8493-068B2C059D08}
\InprocServer32
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{700E25F9-6FF5-60B9-F164-0494C922C455}
\InprocServer32
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID
\{7586A829-8A23-4269-8493-068B2C059D08}\InprocServer32
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID
\{700E25F9-6FF5-60B9-F164-0494C922C455}\InprocServer32
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{27DC3AC6-855C-7053-0DF5-0AACFE6BE776}
\InprocServer32
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID
\{27DC3AC6-855C-7053-0DF5-0AACFE6BE776}\InprocServer32

In the right pane, delete the values:

"Default" = "%System%\[RANDOM DLL NAME]"
"ThreadingModel" = "Apartment"

4. Exit the Registry Editor.

I totaslly agree with cornpie jones NOD32 is the best if you want to invest in a good Antivirus.ESET NOD32 Antivirus offers superior, comprehensive protection, the fastest scanning throughput, and the least performance impact of any solution."When you combine the speed, accuracy and advanced heuristics capabilities of ESET’s solution, it is clearly the best performing AV product on the market today." NOD32 also won the proactive on-demand detection, and highest on-demand scanning speed categories.Running separate applications for viruses, hackers, adware, and spyware can slow your PC, be difficult to manage, and provide questionable protection. Beware of large, bloated internet security suites that consume hundreds of megabytes on your PC. These typically exist because vendors have acquired products and 'bundled' them together. In contrast, ESET NOD32 was designed from the core as a single, highly-optimized engine that works as a unified Anti-Threat system to protect against a broad spectrum of malware. Viruses, worms, spyware, and other malicious attacks, which are constantly evolving. ESET NOD32 utilizes patent-pending ThreatSense® Technology to detect tomorrow's threats in real-time, by analyzing code execution for malicious intent - keeping you ahead of the malware-writers.
