Sight.
Nothing compares to the sublime feeling of shifting shades of colour on a breezy sunlight day, the sight of flesh against the blue sky, warm shadows in the cold winter days,bright pink tongues from the mouth of a laughing Jamaican, the sublime sight of a sleepy baby, a sleeping puppy, a sleepy afternoon on the pond in the wild. To see. To see all the hues in a rainbow, all the tiny colours up close of a red headed woman, the feel of awe when a sight so powerful in it's beauty that it is a subliminal memory all the rest of your life; like it happened this morning and not the forty years ago it actually happened.
Sight.
Every day of my life I see so much that there is always a point in the day where beauty strikes me deep. The splay of yellow light across the floor of the bedroom, and the ray of sunlight against the kitchen wall marking the time in slow movement. An east Indian man walking in his traditional garb with a concrete city wall for background. The colour of the cars on a grey rainy day, the lamps at night colouring the springtime leaves budding in the darkness, the sight of you, and others so strange, so sublime it is in daily life I can not surrender to nothing else, but God Himself.
There is always something subliminal in my daily life, as long as I can see.
