I've heard missionary (man on top is best) is this really true or is this a myth. My husband and I are trying to conceive and we did it doggie style......is this a bad position for conceiving?

Missionary....also put a pillow under your bottom. Makes it easier for the "little swimmers".

I have heard so many conflicting thoughts on this but a book i am reading "the unofficial guide to getting pregnant" says that there is not one position that is better than the others. It goes on to say that Dr's may tell you that misionary position is the best but they may also tell you to stand on your head afterwards... it is all hearsay. Basically, do it however you two feel comfortable. This way you will be more relaxed and have a better chance. Remember enjoy it! I hope this helps. good luck

The only position you need to worry about is after he ejaculates. Keep your legs together and lay flat on your back with your bottom slightly elevated to prevent leakage.
