Why would someone think like this and where did he get this idea?

I'm a Republican and my friend says I'm an animal hater and tree killer. I asked him why he said this and he replied that since most Republican talk show hosts hate tree huggers (which they don't, only the way they express their veiws) that all Repubilcans must be like this. Then he threw something I said into the Liberal spin machine and it came out as 'If someone calls himself by one name and has a certain belief, then all who call themselves by this name follow the said belief.' So he put this together saying that if Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannidy, Jim Quinn and Glenn Beck call themselves Republicans and hate quote-unquote 'greenweenies' and I call myself a Republican, than I must hate 'greenweenies' as well. How much sense does this make? Has anyone else heard of a similar case in the Liberal media?

You both have fallen for the simple tags that can be placed on other people for having a different perspective than your own. You both need to stop with the Lib., Conservative thing. If there is a left and right, there must also be an up and a down. Don't put people in pidgin holes. life is very diverse. It's just the way the Demo-republican party likes it, Divide and Conquer. And if you think any GOOD will come from the current 1 party system you are living in the matrix. Turn of all BIG media, Boycott all monopoly's
