What's a soul? It's not sth magical that exists within us and makes us alive.I know it sounds much too logical for some people but what we perceive as a soul is actually our brain. All our thoughts, emotions, feelings, memories are controlled by our brain. So,since clones would have brains, they would also have "souls".Although,I wonder...Would they carry the memories of the original person?Or their brain would be blank as a baby's?

I would see it under the same canopy as if it was an in vitro fertilization because it is “unnatural” conception yet would still have a “soul” and being as any other living creature yet of course it depends on your spiritual connections and views.
I see a clone as having the same physical and genetic make up and since “souls” having nothing to do with actual genetics it is impossible at this place in time for science to duplicate the "soul", but again I believe this is a personal opinion question.

Since we have souls....will anger most in this group...once had a religion teacher who said god would automatically give a clone a soul. This guy also tried to say he could prove god exsists...his evidence was pretty funny...funny enough that me as an 17 year old kid pointed out the huge flaw in his logic...

Why would a clone not have a soul?
Cloning is just physical. Who knows what happens spiritually!

I don't think they would but Ricky D has a point, that's completely separate because it's spiritual. I suppose they might... interesting concept. = )
