How do I add a created play to my playbook and use it in a game in Madden 07?

I have just created like 6 plays and I made my own formation. I put the plays in it, but I cannot figure out how to actually use these plays in a game. Please Help...Remember this is Madden 07.

This is one of the new aspects this year that totally pissed me off. You can only use created playbooks in exhibition games now. If you create a playbook you can not use it in franchise mode, superstar mode, ______ mode..... poppycock!
