As the mom of a Leo daughter, I feel well-qualified to answer this!
There is no drama queen like a Leo. Leo females coined the phrase "to make a mountain out of a molehill". Understated, they are not!
They also feel an innate need to be the center of attention. (I should point out though that Leos are so charming, they tend to be the focal point of any group even if they don't want to be.)
All Leos are born leaders, and they take this mission seriously. They're benevolent rulers, but even so, their subjects can get a bit weary of being bossed around.
Finally, the term "Lazy Leo" has a basis in fact. You may be queen, but try and summon more energy than it takes to brush out your mane and curl up for a nap in your lair!
All in all though...the "bad side" of Leo really isn't all that bad. If you focus a bit on others' point of view as well as your own, you'll do great.

Even though this thread is 10 yrs old I have just discovered it. In my life experience with Leos I have learned a great deal about them. They tend to have an over-inflated sense of importance about themselves. They can be cold, calculating, and arrogant, while expecting others to be subservient. They can have tremendous egos and be very materialistic. As for the original Leo girl (who is now a Woman) who "wants to be better", I would recommend reading all the negative tendencies on this and other websites, then make a conscious effort to NOT act that way. It will be very hard to do as this is how we are programmed, and we each bear the traits of the sign we're born under. But having awareness of how you present yourself to others is the first step to being "better". Good luck!

I am a Leo and I don't think that I have any bad side per say but that by aging and maturity we all learn what is bad as far as our faults go. Each one of us has different faults. Yet, it depends on how we are looked upon for those faults, or what someone else would perceive as being a bad side.
For example, they say that Leo's are or can be aloof, distance at times, and people tend to think we are snobbish because of it.
Doesn't mean that it is a bad side, just that someone else is looking at it from a different perspective. We as Leo's may have a reason for being distant or aloof, that they do not understand.

You have got to show Ms Leo that you are the boss from the word go or she will eat you for breakfast. She likes her partner in life to be as near perfect as possible, just as she does with everything . She has terrific pride and can always cover up her mistakes in a nice way. She will entertain your friends beautifully but she will also try to organize your life if you let her. You will need plenty of money to entertain her as she likes to go to the best places. The more expensive and trendy the restaurant is, the better. She's a bit of a snob you see.

If she decides she wants you there is very little you can do to escape. She doesnt normally go for incompatible associations, however so maybe you just have to trust her judgement. You will be pleased you are being pursued once you see how much pleasure she can bring into your life. She is Kind and if you have a problem and need a place she will welcome you with open arms.

She is a perfectionist. If she does not think you look good, she will set abou reinventing you on her style terms. In love she may make mistakes but she often knows she is doing so. So her life is a learning process. She goes into war time after time to learn how to perfect the battle, does our lioness. It is a long time before she gives that up, even if she is constantly butting her head against a brick wall.

Her kind-heartedness will lead her to help her friends out of arkward patches but remember that this is done on her terms. Dont try your luck for too long or you will end up with an enemy instead of a friend. You will rarely have her undivided attention so dont expect it. She knows how to work a crowd. you'll see her dazzling everyone she passes. Its either her magnetism or her jewellery. She has a cat like swagger that can turn heads too. So what happens when she makes a mistake in public? Well, its your fault of course! But by the tme you two are on your own again, she's giving you far too much attention for you to be able to feel angry with her.

My two younger sisters are both Leos.They are so competitive towards each other,it's not even funny!They always want to be the center of attention.If I give one a gift,the other gets mad.It's always tensed when both of them are in the same room together.They're both very funny,but one of them always has to leave because they can't stand to be upstaged.We just deal with it the best that we can.They're both beautiful and they love the attention.
