Unfortunately, this looks like the last season (season 2) for Rome - which is too bad - it's definitely the best series on TV right now! It has great inter-weaving story lines, does a great job at being historically accurate with its depictions of how Romans lived, and has fantastic actors!
If you read the article I posted below, you can see that the first season cost about $100 million!
It really shows - Rome is really well done.

Everything I have read states that season 2 is it. However, they did say that about the Sopraons...but I think that the Sopranos are more popular than Rome.
I knew that they were going to kill Caesar at the end of the first season - perfect way to bring people back!

the final episode does not say season finale, it mentioned sequence finale, i enjoyed that teach too, yet like band of brothers the stable ones do no longer run continuously it relatively is area of what makes them great, in comparison to ounceswhich began out magnificent however the final 3 seasons wher painful

I hope so but they say no but they said that last year after they killed Caesar. I would think Verenus and Pullo have some good years left in them still.

HBO is not bringing it back.... costs too much to make and they said that it has not had the ratings that they had hoped for. enjoy while you can!!
