No he is just racing a limited schedule to help Ginn racing to get off there feet and help tutor Regan get sarted

Mark is a consistent driver and doesn't make a lot of mistakes. I think he would have made the chase but would not be in contention for the championship if he had run all the races. With the higher premium on wins now it wouldn't be good for Mark. He hasn't won a race since 2005 and only has 4 wins in the last 8 seasons. For perspective, Jimmie has 4 in a row and 11 CHASE wins since they started it in 2004.
