Why are people so petty I mean we fight argue and ruin our relationships over the stupidest things. Why is forgive and forget so damn hard for us?

Great question but it is hard 2 forgive esp when you have been hurt badly! The heart takes time 2 heal! Also most of the time a trust is broken and that is one of the hardest things to get back!

When person is hurt, they will found it very hard to forgive the one who has hurt them and if they do found it easy forgive, they will found it very hard to forget it. On the other hand the person who has cause the pain will found it to ask for forgiveness, because the person who is hurt will not forgive them.
The hardest thing to say is to ask for forgiveness and the hardest thing to do is forgive and forget and people do not give many chances to others.

Good question.... For me it's that I do forgive but I never forget... No matter how big or small the situation if I was really hurt I don't forget.

I live for today only the pass is history and tomorrows a gift... Just take it day by day and your life will fall in to place... I never hold a grug on anyone because I know life is too short... And i always forget because it happened for a reason...

Some people can forget things fast and some can't it is how they are raised up if the parents used to forget the punish meant or something they can easily forget other things fast.

Because so many people are on power trips and they can not admit they were wrong. Forgiveness is difficult for people who are control freaks because they don't want to be seen as weak. They think it is weak to forgive or to ask to be forgiven.
