Many years ago I wanted to be just like Marylin Monroe.Peoples private lives weren't slandered all over the T.V. and tell all tabloids like they are now! She died around my 14TH birthday. 14 year old's back then were not as worldly as they are now. At least not the girls I knew. I just wanted to be glamorous like Marylin I was a little dark haired, dark eyed, olive skinned girl. There was no way I could have been Marylin Monroe! I didn't know what an affair was I was very sheltered, so all I knew was that she was beautiful............Let she/he who is without sin cast the first stone!

Joe DiMaggio did but I can't think of anyone else during her life did. She was basically a sex object. She knew it and used it to climb her way to the top of Hollywood. Simply stated she was a high priced whore who had little if any talent.......except one!!

I do she was sweet in her own way. Not like the ones we have now ( Nicole smith, Nicole Ritchie and Britney Spears)

she was beautiful and sexy yes
but also vulnerable, child-like.... often tormented by her own demons.
I think all she wanted was to be loved.
